Belt Clamps
Belle Banne leads the way in hydraulically-controlled belt clamps that are easy to install, with each design load tested to twice the nameplate rating.
Our belt clamps can be used as a brake, static clamp or used in an ‘indexing’ application on large overland conveyors and drift belts to pull slack belt along the conveyors for maintenance activities such as, pulley replacements, belt replacements, etc.
Engineered and built to outlast our belt clamps are designed utilising computer modelling, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and a manufacturing process exceeding a multitude of rigorous standards:
AS3990 - Mechanical equipment – steelwork AS1554.1 - Structural steel welding – welding of steel structures AS/NZS 3000:2007 - Electrical installations (known as the Australia/New Zealand wiring rules) AS2671 - Hydraulic fluid power - general requirements for systems AS1252 - High strength steel bolts with associated nuts and washers for structural engineering
Custom Power Pack
The power pack has a variable pressure setting to provide fine tuning of the clamp force to enable the clamp jaws to act as a brake.
Features are:
An operator console where the operator can vary clamp pressure.
A pressure reducing function that allows the operator to adjust the system operating pressure infinitely up to the system capacity.
A second pre-charged circuit that is capable of providing full system pressure (200 bar) in the event of a power failure.
Manual or electrical unloading features that enable the power pack to be connected to the conveyor safety systems.

Discover hydraulic belt clamps engineered for strength, safety, and versatility—designed to handle the toughest conveyor applications.
In demanding operations conveyor belts are subjected to punishing forces. The survival of a belt in such conditions hinges on the resilience of its cover rubber
Since the installation of the new ArmorShield belts in January 2025, the site has reported zero incidents of belt rips, cuts, or visible wear on the top covers.
Counterfeit and imitation parts that fail under pressure are increasingly threatening industry performance and profitability, and the impact continues to grow.
A strategic collaboration bringing together complementary rubber expertise and a shared desire to support mining customers with circular mining solutions.
