Tee Off For Community: Fenner’s NSW Golf Day Raises Over $20,000 for Mental Health Awareness

Last Friday, the rolling greens of Rydges Hunter Valley played host to Fenner Conveyors’ second annual NSW Golf Day, “Tee Off For Community,” a sold-out event that brought together over 100 players from across the Fenner ecosystem; employees, clients, suppliers, and partners, for an exciting day of friendly competition and camaraderie - all aimed at creating connection and community impact.

Held in proud partnership with mental health non-profit Talk2mebro, the event raised more than $20,000 to support suicide prevention and mental health awareness programs across the NSW region. The funds will help amplify Talk2mebro’s mission to educate and empower people to speak up and seek support when they need it most.

Fenner’s Managing Director, Jen Green, who joined the day as a player alongside other company directors, opened the event with a heartfelt welcome and an Acknowledgement of Country, recognising the Wonnarua people as Traditional Owners of the land.

“I’m proud that Fenner is stepping forward again with this community event,” said Green. “Our success today isn’t just measured in dollars raised, but in the awareness, connection, and momentum we build together.”

The day featured a 4-ball Ambrose format, competitons and activations along the course, and a lively raffle and auction to close the day.

“Combining golf with a cause close to our hearts has proven to be a powerful way to bring people together,” said Chief Operating Officer Brett McMillan. “It’s about more than just sport, it’s about showing up for each other and making a difference.”

This year’s event built on the success of Fenner’s inaugural Golf Day in 2024, which raised $10,000 for Life Without Barriers and funded over 370 literacy backpacks for youth. The 2025 edition doubled down on impact, demonstrating how Fenner’s values of community and connection are becoming deeply embedded in its culture.

A special thank you goes out to our generous sponsors who helped make the day possible: Flexco, ABB, Tolleno Hire, ACG, GO Electrical, Total Fitouts, and Peak Marketing. Their support was instrumental in turning goodwill into tangible outcomes.
